Acupuncture

Acupuncture works by balancing the meridians which underlie and support every bodily structure and function. The meridians are lines of energy or communication which connect all parts of the body. In illness they become blocked or weak. The acupuncturist will locate these blockages or weaknesses and attempt to rectify them, thereby restoring health.

The treatment works on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels and is therefore capable of treating a wide range of problems.

I underwent 4 years training in traditional Chinese acupuncture at The Northern College of Acupuncture in York. I have since undergone further training in Japanese acupuncture styles including highly effective though much lighter needle techniques.
