Hypnosis is a natural method of relaxing the conscious mind in order to reach the subconscious. When the subconscious is spoken to directly, old patterns and conditioning can be replaced with new ideas and positive suggestions. These positive suggestions can then be used to help make the changes you desire.

Originally from Liverpool, Gay has lived and worked in Sheffield for over thirty years. She has been a Hypnotherapist for eighteen years and a Healer for eight. Gay has successfully treated people with a wide range of problems. Her approach is eclectic, tailoring treatment to the individual needs and preferences of the client. Gay strongly believes that her work should be complementary to conventional medical and psychological practice and is happy to liase with medical practitioners to ensure the best and quickest outcomes for the client.

My interest in natural therapies began over twenty years ago whilst studying an oriental art called Kyu Shin. This included the study of movement and breathing exercises, meditation and oriental health practices, including Shiatsu and acupressure.

To compliment this training and to expand my knowledge of natural therapies and change work, I undertook training and qualifications in Swedish, Thai and Chinese massage. As well as Hypnotherapy and NLP.

I am fully qualified and experienced in the therapies that I use. i have worked in many clinics providing natural therapies and Hypnosis/NLP sessions. I have also worked on several of the worlds most prestigious cruiseships as a massage therapist and at Ragdasle Hall Health Hydro for six and a half years. I am qualified in NLP Trainers cert (Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and NHR Practitioner META (Neuro Hypnotic Repattening).
