Tuina Chinese Massage

Tuina (pronounced Twee-na) Chinese massage and manipulation works on the same energy lines as Acupuncture. Tuina is a robust, vigorous and deep treatment which is applied to a clothed body. Soft tiissue massage and joint manipulation techniques ease pain and help the bodies own healing powers to work. Tuina is an all round form of physical therapy and therapeutic massage.

Tuina is recommended for; Promotion of well-being and relaxation, Relief from headaches and stress, shoulder and neck pain, aching joints and tired muscles, back pain and sciatica.

My interest in natural therapies began over twenty years ago whilst studying an oriental art called Kyu Shin. This included the study of movement and breathing exercises, meditation and oriental health practices, including Shiatsu and acupressure.

To compliment this training and to expand my knowledge of natural therapies and change work, I undertook training and qualifications in Swedish, Thai and Chinese massage. As well as Hypnotherapy and NLP.

I am fully qualified and experienced in the therapies that I use. i have worked in many clinics providing natural therapies and Hypnosis/NLP sessions. I have also worked on several of the worlds most prestigious cruiseships as a massage therapist and at Ragdasle Hall Health Hydro for six and a half years. I am qualified in NLP Trainers cert (Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and NHR Practitioner META (Neuro Hypnotic Repattening).
