What is CBT?

Feeling lethargic, tired, anxious, unfocussed and helpless?  Has life simply become overwhelming?  We assist you in overcoming obstacles and becoming more successful in life.  We talk together, listen and create systematic action plans and develop coping strategies together.

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a psychological treatment that involves talking to address the causes, triggers and behaviours that can aid in a variety of problems such as, but not limited to:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety disorders

  • Alcohol and drug use problems

  • Eating disorders

  • Relationship problems

  • Severe mental illnesses

It focuses on the present problems that come up in everyday life. CBT helps people to examine how a person can make sense of what is happening around them and how it can affect the way they feel.

  • Structured and time-limited

  • Problem-focused with achievable goals

  • Teaches you the strategies and essential skills needed to support you day-to-day
