Warm Wax Therapy

Warm Wax Therapy is a therapeutic paraffin wax treatment that uses heat to increase blood flow, relax muscles and increases hydration in the skin.

Though it is a simple form of treatment, heat therapy relieves pain and muscle stiffness. When applied to the feet, heat helps to increases blood flow to the area, flushing out toxins and other products. Blood also brings oxygen, helping to repair soft tissues, gentle massage encourages improved muscle tone, thereby relaxing muscles.

The treatment moisturises and softens the skin while providing a therapeutic, soothing and healing effect to sore and aching joints. The wax contains essential oils of orange, bay, lavender, frankincense and myrrh. These oils provide antiseptic and anti-inflammatory benefits.

This treatment is particularly beneficial for those suffering from arthritis, rheumatic pain or aching joints, but can be enjoyed by anyone feeling the need to relax, de-stress and enjoy a little pampering.

After oil is applied, wax is put on from individual pods, offering a relaxing, hygienic experience with no chance of cross infection from of multi-use. Warmed booties and towels left on for serval minutes, with the treatment followed by a relaxing foot massage.
